The original premise was to create a complete identity for a fictional business.
I decided to do two businesses and make them 'interchangeable'.
For instance, the primary logos are the same shape, just reflected.

The letterhead is composed entirely of secondary logos.

Identical boxes can be used for both temporary small animal shipping and fresh meat carrying (with the exception of some well-placed air holes).

Identical bottles can be used for both the medicated shampoo and the honey barbeque sauce; the same goes with the flea powder and blended seasonings.

The pet prescription labels are very similar visually and in function to deli weigh-scale labels.

This one was too good to pass up. The bassett hound is equivalent to top round. And the way the Beef industry classifies the cuts is very similar to the judging criteria in dog shows. Hence the top diagram.

All of the illustrations resemble their primary logos stylistically and all the dogs have heart-shaped noses.

Uniforms for the Head Doctor, Head Butcher, and administrative staff.

I made renderings of the two business fronts and built them to not only share a corner, but to use both sides of the exterior mounted sign.
The animal hospital is designed to look more modern and the butcher shop has more of a 1950's corner store look.
